The reNew Medispa offers a variety of facial spa treatment programs
to treat many different skin conditions. We offer the most comprehensive
skin care programs in Louisville designed by our plastic surgery staff.
Choose from an assortment of skin care facials performed in private
medi-suites with the latest skin care technology. Our estheticians
will help determine which facials are best suited for your skin. Pricing
discounts are available by combining reNew facials with photodynamic
LED therapy, Intense Pulse Light Therapy, Injectibles and Botox Cosmetic.®
Complimentary reNew Medispa menus with pricing guides are available

Our Italian inspired facial begins with an Amla fruit enzymatic extract
with morus alba roots (mulberries), bilberries and blueberry fruit
puree to exfoliate your skin and open clogged pores. A lavish hydrating
mask rich with a copper peptide complex and punica grenate (pomegrante)
is applied to restore hydration and soothe your skin. An anti-aging
serum rich in epidermal growth factor (strengthen skin), argireline
(reduces wrinkles) and marine oligopeptides (promote collagen synthesis)
completes your facial. Your skin will feel smooth, hydrated and refreshed.
The reNew Signature Series Facial (60 minutes)
This exclusive reNew facial begins with a light cranberry lactic acid
peel to loosen old devitalized skin cells followed by microdermabrasion
to mechanically remove skin cells and open clogged pores. After your
microdermabrasion a gel cleanser followed by a refreshing citrus mask
is applied to your skin to begin the hydration process. Finally, a
hydrating cream rich in beta-fructan, beta glucosamine, retinyl palmitate
and collagen helps restore your skins natural glow and tone. Your
skin will feel revitalized and refreshed.
The reNew Spa Series Facial (45 minutes)

Your exotic facial begins with a gentle facial cleanser followed by
both a cranberry enzymatic extract and alpha & beta hydroxyl glycolic
acid treatment (30%) to exfoliate dull skin cells and open blocked
pores. A soothing vitamin E gel with rose hip seed oil and wild yam
extract help rehydrate your skin followed by a serum high in argireline
(to reduce wrinkles), marine oligopeptides (promote collagen synthesis)
and epidermal growth factor (strengthen skin).
The reNew Pumpkin Skin Series Facial (45 minutes)
The reNew Pumpkin Skin Series II Facial (65 minutes)
A European inspired facial which includes a natural pumpkin enzymatic
mask with date seeds, jojoba beads and a rice extract to gently exfoliate
your skin. This may be complimented with microdermabrasion if you
choose the reNew Pumpkin Skin Series II treatment. An exotic antioxidant
serum completes your facial high in argireline (reduces wrinkles),
glycosaminoglycans (slows the aging process), epidermal growth factor
(strengthen skin) and retinol (aids in cellular renewal). Your skin
will be refreshed and rehydrated to help remove unwanted wrinkles
and lines.
The reNew Tropical Salon Facial (45 minutes)
We begin your facial with a gentle pineapple and papaya enzyme extract
over warm steamed towels to breakdown facial oils and open your skin
pores. This is followed by a natural non-acidic cooling yam extract
and Vitamin E mask to rehydrate your complexion. Your facial is complete
with a refreshing mist containing sodium hyaluronate (to retain skin
moisture) and anti-aging cream containing beta fructan (moisture retention)
soy isoflavones (anti-oxidants) and collagen (enhance skin elasticity).
Your skin will glow with renewed confidence.
The reNew Oriental Seaweed Facial (45 minutes)
Facial, Neck, Décolleté (60 minutes)
We begin with a salicylic acid (30%) peel followed by a seaweed mask
with algae extract to detoxify and restore both the moisture and mineral
balance of your skin. Your facial is completed with a mineral cream
containing soothing copper, Japanese green tea and a camellia oleifera
extract to penetrate deep into your skin to deliver its anti-aging
ingredients rejuvenating your skin's natural beauty.
The reNew Pineapple-Vitamin C Facial (45 minutes)
Relax and rejuvenate your facial skin with this popular facial. We
begin with a papaya and pineapple enzymatic treatment with a salicylic
acid (30%) facial peel to exfoliate your devitalized skin cells. An
anti-aging copper hydrating mask is applied to restore skin tone and
revitalize the skin. This is followed by vitamin C serum to improve
skin texture and smoothness. Your skin will shine with renewed confidence.
The reNew Seaweed Organic Facial (45 minutes)
Your facial retreat begins with a lactic acid peel (15%) with a bilberry
fruit extract to exfoliate your skin and open clogged pores. This
is followed by an algae extract-seaweed mask (emulsified with Fucus
Vesiculosus, Macrocystis Pyrifera) and the plant extract Arnica Montana.
Your facial is completed with a refreshing mist containing sodium
hyaluronate (to retain skin moisture) and pomegranate extract (anti-inflammatory
agent) to restore skin tone.
The reNew Mineral Facial w/ Copper (45 minutes)
Inspired by the Orient, a gentle soothing facial with rice extract,
fungal protease, pumpkin and oat bran mixed with Japanese rice powder
to remove damaged skin cells. Your facial is completed with a copper-hydrating
mask and an anti-aging cream with Japanese green tea and grape seed
extract with copper. This facial is a great treatment after microdermabrasion
or glycolic power peels.
The reNew Presidential Series I Male Facial (45 minutes)
The reNew Presidential Series II Male Facial (60 minutes)
Choose series I and a gentle abrasive cleanser with micobeads followed
by a pineapple enzymatic treatment with a 5% salicylic acid mask is
used to remove dead skins cells and open pores. Choose series II and
in addition to the pineapple enzymatic treatment microdermabrasion
is added mechanically to remove additional devitalized skin cells
and open clogged pores. Your facial is completed with a revitalizing
mineral cream high in copper, marine minerals and antioxidants.
The reNew Microdermabrasion Facial Salon Series

Full face microdermabrasion to remove devitalized skin cells and open
clogged pores. This medical-grade treatment smoothes the texture of
your skin and prepares the surface layer of your skin for new healthy
skin cell growth improving skin tone and radiance. Each treatment
is followed by a light skin cleanser rinse and soothing Aloe Vera
gel with UV protectant.
The reNew Acne Facial (45 minutes)
Acne prone skin can be difficult to treat, we begin your facial with
a papaya enzyme skin conditioning treatment followed by a glycolic
acid (30%) peel to deep clean your oily pores and remove blackheads.
A soothing gel mask is applied followed by an oil control emulsion
rich in hyaluronic acid and totarol™ (a natural antioxidant botanical
with antibacterial and antimicrobal properties).

The reNew medispa offers various combinations of Omnilux blue™
light therapy alternating with Omnilux revive™ light therapy
to treat acne and other skin conditions. Our Omnilux™ narrowband
Light Emitting Diode (LED) therapy works through exfoliation of the
devitalized skin cells, destruction of the bacteria that cause acne
and reduction of the acne inflammatory tissue response. Omnilux blue™
and Omnilux revive™ therapy does not use ultraviolet light or
radiation to treat acne and is FDA approved. Treatment is painless,
quick and offers an alternative to taking medication for acne. Omnilux™
light therapy can be combined with amino levulinic acid to enhance
your treatment results. The amino levulinic acid (ALA) makes the skin
more photosensitive permitting better penetration of the therapeutic
light. If you choose to add ALA to your treatment, expect your skin
to exfoliate. Individuals treated with Omnilux™ therapy need
to avoid direct exposure to UV light following their treatment. Individuals
interested in our Omnilux™ light therapy packages need to schedule
a mini-consultation with our estheticians before your treatment program
can begin. Treatment times vary and range from 20 minutes to 90 minutes.

The reNew medispa offers Omnilux blue™ light therapy to treat
actinic damaged skin (sun damaged skin) through exfoliation of devitalized
skin cells. It may be used to treat precancerous skin lesions for
those individuals who have actinic skin damage from excessive sun
exposure. Omnilux blue™ therapy does not use ultraviolet light
or radiation. Omnilux blue™ is approved by the FDA for treating
acne and other skin conditions. Treatment is painless and quick. For
our actinic skin treatments Omnilux blue™ light therapy is combined
with amino levulinic acid. The amino levulinic acid (ALA) makes your
skin more photosensitive permitting better penetration of the therapeutic
light. Individuals treated with Omnilux blue™ therapy need to

The reNew Salicylic Acid (30%) Peel (45 minutes)
The reNew Salicylic Acid (30%) Peel, Series of 4 (45 minutes)
Ideal for acne, rough calloused skin, aging skin and hyperpigmentation.
This salicylic acid peel deeply cleanses the pores and promotes removal
of dead skin cells necessary for skin rejuvenation. Skin is prepared
with a milk cleanser, pH balanced toner and enzymatic extract. After
the salicylic peel, a gel mask is applied followed by conditioning
cream and UV protectant.
The reNew Trichloracetic Acid Peel (10%) (45 minutes)

(45 minutes)
Ideal for fine wrinkles and lines, hyperpigmentation, dull skin
and sun damage. This peel helps decrease the appearance of fine
lines and surface imperfections while promoting healthy skin. Skin
is prepped with a conditioning cleanser and skin pH balancing toner.
After the trichloracetic acid peel, skin is conditioned with a hydrating
gel, cream conditioner and UV protectant.
Psoriasis Treatment (30 minutes)
Omnilux revive™ series of 5 treatments
Omnilux plus™ series of 12 treatments
Psoriasis affects approximately 1%-3% of the population. It is a
chronic genetically inherited disease characterized by dermal inflammation
and keratinocyte hyperproliferation. Omnilux™ light therapy
has been shown to effectively down regulate the inflammatory processes
within the skin to help clear psoriasis. The reNew Medispa offers
a package of 5 Omnilux revive™ treatments for moderate plaques,
2 treatments are administered one week apart, the 3rd treatment
is administered on day 15, followed by 2 additional treatments 1
month apart. For deep infiltrating psoriasis plaques, we offer a
package of 12 Omnilux plus™ treatments administered 3 times
per week over 4 weeks.
Omnilux revive™ Vitiligo Treatments
Vitiligo or leukoderma affects 1%-2% of the population. This chronic
skin disease results in loss of skin pigment often seen as pale
patches of skin. The etiology of vitiligo is not well understood,
it may be associated with autoimmune, genetic or environmental factors.
The reNew Medispa offers Omnilux revive™ treatments in combination
with a topical pseudocatalase to repigment vitiligo lesions. The
Omnilux revive™ light photostimulates the melanocytes in your
skin with 633nm of light to generate melanin (skin pigment). The
topical pseudocatalase applied to your skin helps to reduce the
high levels of hydrogen peroxide found in vitiliginous skin. This
treatment is tailored to each patient, Omnilux™ light therapy
for the treatment of vitiligo is investigational.
Intense Pulse Light Facial Therapy (30-45 minutes)

The reNew Medispa offers Intense Pulse Light (IPL) skin rejuvenation
facials. The IPL treatments focus on stimulating new collagen growth
and collagen remodeling to help remove fine skin wrinkles. The treatments
can also be used to remove skin blemishes such as vascular lesions,
pigmented lesions, and age spots. You may choose our combination
light therapy packages which include IPL treatments bundled with
Omnilux revive™ and Omnilux plus™ narrowband Light Emitting
Diode (LED) therapy. Omnilux™ light therapy rejuvenates the
skin through photobiomodulation of targeted cells. Specific narrowband
light with wavelengths of 633nm and 830nm are emitted from our Omnilux™
lights. This narrowband light biomodulates fibroblast activity stimulating
collagen production and myofibroblast transformation used in the
contractile process of the remodeling phase of healing.

Omnilux™ light therapy rejuvenates the skin through photobiomodulation
of targeted cells. Photobiomodulation of cells through narrowband
light at appropriate doses in the range of 830nm has been shown
to have an effect on cellular recruitment, metabolism, and mitosis
of neutrophils, macrophages and fibroblasts in the target area.
These cells are involved with wound healing and collagen synthesis.
Narrowband light in the range of 633nm has been shown to have an
effect on fibroblast activity leading to more efficient collagen
synthesis and mitotic activity. Specific narrowband light with wavelengths
of 633nm and 830nm are emitted from our Omnilux™ lights. This
narrowband light biomodulates fibroblast activity stimulating collagen
production and myofibroblast transformation used in the contractile
process of the remodeling phase of healing. The reNew Medispa offers
Omnilux™ light treatments in bundles for skin rejuvenation,
wound healing and muscular pain therapy.
Facial Dermal Fillers
The reNew Facial Medispa offers the following dermal fillers to
help you achieve your cosmetic goals. For your safety all dermal
fillers are administered by our plastic surgeons in the medispa
suites. Local and topical anesthesia is available for your comfort.
Dermal fillers are stocked once per month, if you have a specific
request for a dermal filler that is not commonly used please inform
your esthetician before your appointment date. In certain cases
dermal fillers can be combined with Botox® Cosmetic for enhanced
results and pricing discounts.

Laser Hair Removal
The reNew Medispa offers laser hair removal, pricing is based on
the body region(s) where the procedure is performed. Special spa
packages are available for facial hair treatment sites with pricing
discounts when laser hair removal is combined with a featured reNew
spa facial.
